New York Times and USA Today bestselling author J. A. Redmerski brings us the second book in her heart-renching series about two 20-somethings who find each other in their darkest moment.

Camryn Bennett has never been happier. Five months after meeting on a Greyhound bus, she and her soul mate Andrew Parrish are engaged-and a wedding isn't the only special event in their future. Nervous but excited, Camryn can't wait to begin the rest of her life with Andrew, a man she knows in her heart will love her always. They have so much to look forward to-until tragedy blindsides them.

Andrew doesn't understand how this could happen to them. He's trying to move on, and thought Camryn was doing the same. But when Andrew discovers Camryn is secretly harboring a mountain of pain and attempting to numb it in damaging ways, there is nothing he won't do to bring her back to life. Determined to prove that their love can survive anything, Andrew decides to take Camryn on a new journey filled with hope and passion. If only he can convince her to come along for the ride...

Excerpt
Camryn still loves the newer stuff and the Civil Wars more than anything and so that’s usually what we play.
Tonight will be no different.
I love watching her perform them next to me up on stage because she becomes so vibrant and playful and sexy as hell. Not that she isn’t all of those things already, but it’s like another more daring and flirty side of her comes out when she’s singing. And she doesn’t just sing—she puts on a show. I think it’s that little actress she’s always had buried somewhere in herself. She told me she performed in plays at school, and I can definitely see she has the knack for it.
But singing alongside me also seems to make her happy, and that’s why tonight is so important.
“I’m so nervous,” Camryn says next to my ear, having to speak loudly over the music.
I make a pffft sound with my lips. “Oh, please. Since when do you get nervous anymore? We’ve done this dozens of times.”
“I know, but I’m singing in front of your brother this time.”
“He can’t sing for shit, so his opinion is hardly valid.”
She smiles. “Well, I’m not nervous to the point that I don’t want to do it. I guess it’s actually kind of exciting.”
“That’s my girl,” I say and lean in to kiss her lips.
“Those two girls,” Camryn yells to me without looking in their direction, “front table to your left, they’re having sex with you in their heads right now, I swear to God.”
I laugh lightly and shake my head. We’d started picking people in the crowd to sing to lately.
“And that guy standing next to the woman in the purple shirt,” I say, nodding subtly in his direction, “has had your thighs wrapped around his head since you walked on this stage.”
“So it’ll be them tonight then, huh?” she asks.
I nod and say, “Uh-huh.”
“Make sure you give it to them good, baby,” she says, grinning wickedly at me.

“Oh, I will,” I say with the same amount of wicked on my face.

Melanie says...

Andrew has always amazed me. He amazed me with the way his mind worked. The way he could look at me without saying anything and make me feel like the most important person in the world. He amazed me with how he could always be so positive even when life was falling apart around him. And how he could make a light shine in the darkest recesses of my mind when I thought that I’d never see another light there again. - Camryn
The Edge of Always is a continuation of The Edge of Always and leaves starts off a few months after Andrew has surgery to remove the tumor in his brain. It can be read as stand alone, but the first book was so awesome I don't recommend skipping it. The book is written in both Andrew & Camryn's POVs, so the insight into both characters was very good.
... there comes a time in a person’s life when you have to face something so horrible that you feel like you’ll never be the same person again. It’s like something dark swoops down from somewhere above and steals every shred of happiness you have ever felt and all you can do is watch it, feel it go, knowing that no matter what you do in your life that you’ll never be able to get it back. Everybody goes through this at least once. No one is immune. But what I fail to understand is how one person can go through it enough for five people and in such a short time. - Andrew
Andrew and Camryn have had their fair share of bad cards dealt to them. Just when things seem to be going the way it should, the other shoe drops. When tragedy strikes while visiting her mother in Raleigh, Andrew feels as though Camryn is slipping through his fingers and he does everything that he can to pull her back from the brink of self-destruction.
... (yesterday) was the first time I couldn’t predict Camryn’s reaction to one of my demanding ideas. My girl was broken. It was scarin’ the shit outta me more every day, the person she was becoming. - Andrew
Andrew suggests a trip to visit his brother and realizes at Camryn is in more pain that he could ever imaging. Smacked him in the face of the possibly of losing her forever, he decides to take Camryn on the road trip of a lifetime. Slowly he makes her deal with all of the things that she has buried deep inside of her. Losses that she never mourned.
“Instead of dealing with it, grieving, whatever, you just shut that shit out and expect it to go away on its own. You’ve been doing that long before we met. You’ve got to know that it just piles up, and one day you’ll snap and go off the deep end.” - Andrew
Andrew and Camryn go though a few bumps in the road as they travel and find themselves again, but they always make it through, stronger and closer than before. They are better people together then they ever could be apart.  If you enjoyed the first book, you will not want to miss this one! Although I thought that maybe it could have been a bit shorter, I loved the journey it took me on. They truly have their HEA and that makes my heart melt. The epilogue leaves the story in a way that there could be a spin-off book after this one and I would definitely read it!
Life is a mysterious, often unfair, thing. But I think I’ve learned in my time with Andrew that it can also be a wonderful thing, and that usually when something happens that seems unfair, it’s just Life’s way of making room for better things to come. I like to think that. It gives me strength when I need it most. - Camryn

Jennifer M. says...

They say good things come to those who wait. I can honestly say that I waited oh so impatiently for The Edge of Always. I thought about it so many times, knowing that the day would come that I could reunite with Andrew and Cameryn. I even reread The Edge of Never and fell in love with it all over again. I didn’t think the sequel could possibly be as phenomenal as the first, but WOW, was I wrong. This book met every expectation I had hoped for and more. J.A. Redmerski proved that INCREDIBLE things come to those who wait.

We are back with Andrew and Cameron. The love this couple shares is so deep, so strong, so beautiful. They are two souls destined for each other. “There is no such thing as accident; it is fate misnamed.”--Napoleon Bonaparte

As we learned in Edge of Never, Camryn and Andrew meet on a Greyhound bus and their fate is sealed. They are engaged five months later and are blissfully happy. They are nervous and excited about their future. Tragedy strikes, and they both question the cards life has dealt.

Andrew and Camryn begin a new journey, one that they hope will strengthen their love and prove they can survive anything thrown in their path. They head out in the Chevelle and rediscover everything they loved about each other in the first place.

“I feel free with you…I feel like I can do anything. Go anywhere. Be anything that I want.” –Camryn

“We can’t control death...There’s nothing either of us can do to avoid it or to hold it off. All we can control is how we live our lives before it comes for us.” –Andrew

I fell in love with Andrew and Camryn all over again. They are magical, their love is pure and deep. They prove over and over again how they will move to the edge of the Earth to make each other feel loved. They are honest, hold nothing back and have you feel every emotion they feel deep in your heart and soul. This novel was music to my ears, a beautiful love story filled with ups and downs.

“…Because we only have one life. We get one shot at making it worth living.” –Andrew

The Edge of Always opens your eyes and reminds you that you only have one life. Live it to the fullest, love with all your heart, and never have any regrets. I will forever list J.A. Redmerski  as one of my favorite authors. She is incredibly gifted and I am so grateful she shared her beautiful words with us.

5+++ Heart warming stars!!
