With one look, I’m his . . .

With one touch, he’s mine . . .

With one kiss, it changes everything between us . . .

I’ve been famous since I can remember. Singing, acting, dancing—I’ve done it all. The tabloids cover my every move, but I don’t want that anymore. I want to be normal, whatever that is.

When I leave Hollywood for college in Vermont, I’m on my own for the first time in my life. This is my chance to figure out who I am and what I want in life.

But it’s a lot harder than I expected. I can’t escape my image. Classes are difficult, and I’m struggling. And then there’s Caleb Fox.

Sexy, intriguing Caleb Fox.

Caleb is the one man who doesn’t want to use me. He breaks down my walls. He challenges me. He wants me. And I just don’t know if I can give him the same—or if he’ll stick around when he finds out my shameful secret that the tabloids haven’t managed to uncover.

Dating him is risky enough, but loving him could break me.

Leary says:

Stay with Me by Elyssa Patrick is about a young girl, Hailey Bloom, who has spent her first 18 years of life barely making any decisions for herself. Her mother was determined to get herself into the limelight and she didn't care if she had to use her own daughter to do it. Hailey began her career as the new Gerber baby, turned into a TV and movie star and then finally a rock star. This sounds like a dream right?!

Wrong, most forget about all the struggles that come with being famous, paparazzi following you everywhere, fake boyfriends, so called friends and family that stab you in the back the first chance you get. Hailey has had enough. She decides to leave her celebrity life behind to try and lead a normal life. She begins her freshman year at Green College.

This is where she meets the oh so sexy Caleb Fox. He is everything that Hailey has always wanted and exactly what she believes she doesn't deserve. Hailey is struggling with trying to figure out who she really is in life and what she actually wants to do as a career. She believes that she needs to stay away from distractions (i.e. Caleb) to be able to find herself.

Little does she know, Caleb is exactly what and who she needs to help her down the path of discovery. Alas, all good things must be thrown a curve ball. Although Hailey's life has been detailed to the public every step of the way, she carries a secret that may destroy her relationship with Caleb..the only person who would release this information is her mother. Will her mom finally do what is right for Hailey or continue to use her own daughter to bring herself in the limelight?

I really enjoyed the relationship between Hailey and Caleb but even more so, I loved the relationship with the whole group of friends. Caleb has some really great guy friends that are extremely supportive of each other. On top of this great, hilarious group of friends is Caleb's younger sister Daphne. She and Hailey become instant best friends. I loved seeing the relationship that Caleb and all of his friends had with Daphne, they were all so loving and caring towards each other while giving each other loads of crap!

This was a great story of a girl who had it all and gave it all up to find true happiness. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next in the series! 4 stars!
