Luna Alexander has always been a 'free spirit' and lived by her own rules, consequences be damned. With the approach of an anniversary she'd rather forget, Luna starts to wonder if there's more to life than partying and hooking up with hot guys.
A chance meeting with a dark knight knocks her off kilter and has her emotions spinning out of control.
Will she finally overcome her past for a chance at happiness, or will she hide behind the walls she's built around her?
Melanie says…
"Luna, you're so infused in me, I'll never get you out of my system." - Hunter
Truth or Dare is a very enjoyable quick read. Although it is listed as a standalone book, and it can be read as such, it is connected to Now or Never featuring Grayson & Derrick. Grayson and Luna, the main character of Truth or Dare, are identical twins and Grayson plays a pretty big portion of the book. I always like to read a series in order, even though the main character changes with each book, so I was a bit disappointed that there was a book before this one that I hadn't read yet. Now that that is out of the way, I did really like this book.
Luna had her heart broken a year ago that destroyed her entire world. Since then she has given everything a big fat fuck you attitude. She has sworn off relationships and kind of looks at sex like a guy would. Wham-bam-thank-you-man. She hooks up with random guys, sometimes not even knowing their name. But if she keeps this lifestyle up, it will consume her.
When Luna meets Hunter, she can't deny the spark that he ignites in her. A feeling that she hasn't experienced in a long time and it scares the crap out of her. She thought that if she hooked up with him that she could get him out of her system and move on, but she was so wrong.
She couldn't seem to keep her eyes off him. She wanted to shift her eyes away, but she couldn't. It was absurd. She'd never been so drawn to a man in all her life. Sure he was hot, but so were countless other men. He had some kind of magnetic pull. It was troublesome to say the least. - Luna
Hunter felt it too.
"You terrify the hell out of me, too. Do you think I like the fact that I can’t go to bed or wake up without you being the first thing to cross my mind? I crave everything about you. The more I have of you, the more I want. I thought I could get over it. Have you a few times, get you out of my system, and move on. Like hell! The more time I spend with you only intensifies my desire—bordering on obsession. You’re wildly exciting, the most passionate woman I’ve ever known. I can’t get enough. You practically drip with sensuality. Everything you do … the way you laugh, how your mind works and Jesus don’t get me started on the way you make love. I’ve wanted you ever since I saw you walk into the bar that night. You were so sure of yourself. Completely comfortable in your own skin, I love that about you.” - Hunter
Truth or Dare was had a good story with a bit oh hot sex mixed in. I would definitely recommend it for any contemporary romance lover. Now, I need to go read Now or Never.

Her body ached with an irrational need to have him close to her. She noticed several faint silver scars across his back. How had he gotten those?
The memory of his reaction to the scar on his stomach stopped her from asking.
Hunter wasn’t prepared to share anything with her other than his body. Understandable, she wasn’t exactly the type to bare her soul either.
She was startled by the realization that she would like to know what secrets he kept hidden underneath his hard exterior. Usually, she could care less about the men she got involved with. But she was intrigued to know what made him tick. What experiences in his past made him who he was today?
On that note, Luna kicked the sheets off her and swung her feet over the bed. “I guess it’s time for me to get home.”
“Stay the night with me,” he said gruffly without turning.
Thankfully she still had a sane corner in her mind. She shook her head. “I can’t I have to work in the morning.”
“Call in sick.”
Luna laughed. Why did he have to be so freakin’ gorgeous. It was hard to say no, but she had to remain strong. “I don’t have that luxury.”
He nodded and moved towards her. Reaching down he drew her up, towering over her. “Alright, but I want to see you tomorrow.”
They stared at each other for so long she was beginning to feel uncomfortable. The air between them seemed to thicken making it hard to breath. She knew things were moving too fast, but couldn’t seem to find the words to protest.
His fingers closed around the back of her neck and his thumb stroked her collar bone. The tips of her naked breast grazed his firm chest.
“You’re making it hard to leave.”
“Tell me you’ll see me tomorrow.” He cupped her face and gave her a brief, but thorough kiss.
She swallowed visible and nodded dropping her head onto his chest moving into the embrace. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Maybe she was reading too much into it. Imagining, he sounded almost desperate to see her again.
Why couldn’t she shut off that cynical voice in her head and just enjoy the moment?
