It's Not Over follows the story of Madison Stuart and Rick Marin. We met them both in The Do Over. Madison is a woman of the world and Rick is so hopelessly clueless. Madison feels sorry for Rick and decided to Rick under her wing and help the poor fool out. In that time feelings begin to surface between Rick and Maddy.
It's Not Over picks up with Madison fleeing and Rick trying to figure out what is going on with her. He considers Maddy a complete pain in the backside, bu he also knows that he doesn't wan to be without her either. "Operation Castrate Rick" was a success! The only hitch is that instead of making Dani fall back in love with him, Rick fell for Madison. Her take no crap attitude is a total turn on for him. Now he needs to figure out how to get past Maddy's tough exterior and really make her his own.
When reading this all I could think that Rick is so perfectly imperfect, and Maddy really is just a softie with a tough outer shell. These are two incredibly flawed and complex characters and you can't help but root for them to get their happily ever after. I really can't wait to see what is in store next for Rick and Madison.
