Lauren Reynolds wanted only two things in life—to run her father’s horse breeding business and Colt Matthews. Fearing Colt would take her position within the family business, she tried to push him far away from her heart.
When life could no longer keep Lauren and Colt apart, their two worlds became one. Every second of every moment, they spent together. Their love bloomed into something neither of them imagined—a bond so strong Lauren and Colt believed nothing would ever stand in their way.
However, life threw a cruel twist into Colt and Lauren’s planned happily ever after. Will fate let them live out the life they dreamed of, or will one of them be left alone, lost and angry?
“I’ll spend forever holding you … even if it’s only in my memory.”
Elle’s 4 Star Review:
Holding You by Kelly Elliot is the third novel in her Love Wanted in Texas Series and is my favorite story so far. This is Colt and Lauren's story and I've been dying to get inside Gunner's son's head since Elliot conceived the idea to write this series. There is something so familiar yet unique about Kelly Elliot's stories. It's hard to not fall head over heels in love with her characters and wish their world was real. Watching Lauren and Colt's story unfold was heartwarming, easy to connect with, and reminiscent of Ellie and Gunner's love. Their relationship is thriving with passion and infectious chemistry that brightens your day and makes you smile. This electric couple can't get enough of one another and their love is eclipsing just like Colt's parents.
Get your hands on Holding You by Kelly Elliot and get a glimpse into the undeniable love Lauren and Colt share. This story is whimsical and charming with just the right amount of drama to make your heart ache. Kelly Elliot has absolutely blown me away yet again!
ABOUT KELLY ELLIOTT
Kelly Elliott is married to a wonderful Texas cowboy who has a knack for making her laugh almost daily and supports her crazy ideas and dreams for some unknown reason...he claims it's because he loves her!
She’s also a mom to an amazing daughter who is constantly asking for something to eat while her fingers move like mad on her cell phone sending out what is sure to be another very important text message.
In her spare time she loves to sit in her small corner overlooking the Texas hill country and write.
One of her favorite things to do is go for hikes around her property with Gus....her chocolate lab and the other man in her life, and Rose, her golden retriever. When Kelly is not outside helping the hubby haul brush, move rocks or whatever fun chore he has in store for her that day, you’ll find her inside reading, writing or watching HGTV.
Lauren stood before me with the sexiest grin on her face. “That. Was. Fun.”
Laughing, I pulled her into my arms. “Yeah it was. I’ve never done anything like that before.”
Gazing into my eyes, Lauren seemed sedated. Her eyes sparkled and I imagined taking her again on the table and just burying my dick deep inside her as I slowly made love to her.
Lauren’s eyes filled with love as she spoke softly. “I’ve never done anything like that before either. We have lots of firsts together.”Rubbing her nose with mine, I whispered, “Yes we do. I have a lot more firsts planned for us, Lauren.”Burying her face in my chest, she said in a muffled voice, “I can’t wait.”
Excerpt Two ~
Peeking over to Colt, my stomach dropped. The way he was looking at Mireya had my insides turning all gooey. His hand came up as he pushed her hair back and chuckled. “She has so much hair, you could put those little Velcro bows in it.”
Dear God. He knew about the little Velcro bows? My heart was gonna explode. He kept talking and my insides kept melting. “Wow! Her eyelashes are so long.” Glancing at me quickly, he gave me a wink. “Isn’t she so precious?”
If I hadn’t been holding the baby, I would have dropped to the floor and told Colt to take me. The throbbing between my legs was unreal. I was ready to blow off this little party Grace had organized and take Colt back to my house and have my wicked way with him.
Licking my lips, I couldn’t pull my eyes from Colt, who was now gazing down at Mireya and talking baby talk to her.I felt someone come up next to me. Hot breath was next to my ear as Grace whispered, “Don’t even think about it.”
