BLURB:
KATHRYN GRAYSON has it all—a beautiful husband, new baby, and a life most women would dream of. But after putting her career on hold for her family, Kathryn sets out to reclaim the woman she once was.

When Kathryn meets her new boss, ALEXANDER ASHER, Manhattan playboy and heir to his family’s fortune, their relationship is heated… and not in a good way. The two are at odds, playing a cat-and-mouse game that has Kathryn pouncing.

Kathryn seeks the comfort of her husband, GABRIEL MONROE, an up-and-coming attorney who seems to have less and less time for his wife as his career takes flight, leaving her dreaming about the days when their love story was a fairy tale.

After a heated argument, a box of Twinkies and a very elaborate display of white roses, Kathryn and Asher call a truce. She unravels a deeper side of him, and they develop a fierce connection that leaves Kathryn wondering what is appropriate… and what is not.

When Kathryn becomes suspicious of Gabriel’s activities, she finds herself alone and far away from home with the charismatic Asher. After a night of drama, honesty, and pure eroticism, Kathryn’s will to stay away from Asher is tempted like never before.

In a battle of self-discovery, Kathryn must choose between them. Both men are devastatingly broken by her actions—and she can only fix one of them. But when she makes her choice, will he even want her after all that’s happened?

JESSICA'S REVIEW:

The heroine Kathryn has a seemingly perfect life in the suburbs with her stud husband with whom she’s been with since college and a beautiful baby boy created out of their loving fairytale happily ever after. Somewhere along the way of becoming a wife and then a new mother Kathryn found it difficult to balance all the facets of her changing life and she struggles with rediscovering herself, she feels like it is time to step back out into the working world and reclaim part of what she feels is missing inside her perfect life, but not everything is as it appears to be and she will soon learn that the hard way.
Her new boss, Alexander Asher, is a world class jerk, a spoiled rich playboy who cares of only himself. Or is he? Home life becomes rocky & Kathryn turns to Asher after getting off on the wrong foot. The sexual chemistry between the two is evident, and Kathryn has a big choice to make. Asher makes Kathryn question everything about her life including her “perfect” marriage. But what does he want from her and what does she want from him, from her husband, from her job?
Follow along as Kathryn struggles to decipher the hard truths in her life and deal with the fallout of everyone’s actions. She learns the true meaning of a wolf in sheeps clothing but will it be too late? Relationships are tested and friendships are broken but through it all comes beauty in the end. The ending it completely unexpected and will leave you slack jawed and reeling from the emotional roller coaster you just stepped off of.
