Victoria is working undercover at Hotel Submission to finish a case that her father started prior to his death. She keeps this job a secret from everyone but her partner. What she doesn't expect is the strong feelings she has for Adrian Cassano. She try's her best to not get involved with him but he pursues her restlessly. Adrian knows Victoria is a cop. He doesn't understand the feelings he has for her. He is convinced he will sleep with her and get her out of his system. Is it really that easy?
Even though Victoria and Adrian are an unlikely couple you can not miss the pull they have for each other. As the story continues you learn about Victoria and Adrian past. They have both lost their fathers. Adrian is very protective of Victoria. He knows she can ruin all of the work that he has put into Hotel Submission. He continues to pursue her until she gives in. The characters are well developed and you also learn about Victoria's partner and Adrian's brothers who play a big part in the story.
"I've got it bad for you. I'm in fucking deep. He brings me to his chest and hugs me as he kisses my hair. Me, too, Adrian...me, too."
The story line moved fairly quickly and had just enough twists and turns throughout the story that kept you reading. Victoria is starting to investigate a big case that leads to trouble for her. When she needs Adrian he throws all caution to the wind and goes to be by her side. I can't wait to see more of the Cassano brothers. They are all hot. This story does end in a cliffhanger. The next book will be released in March.

Victoria's POV:
I’m sprawled out on Adrian Cassano’s dining room table. It’s now questionable if I’m worthy of my career in law enforcement.
His fingers stroke my wet panties, causing me to gasp. My eyes open, and he’s piercing me with a lascivious gaze. Hooking his fingers over the top of the satiny fabric, he inches them along my legs and up over my knees until he’s lifting each foot to remove them.
Even though I’m headed straight toward a brick wall, I can’t bring myself to hit the brakes. Adrian will believe this was an act.
I was truly engaged during our many in-depth conversations.
He’s intelligent, interesting and caring. I genuinely find humor in his witty remarks and miss his presence when he’s not near, yet he won’t believe any of it. He’ll think it was all pretend.
There is only a collision ahead, but I can’t stop it. I’m selfish, wanting the attention he gives me. Adrian’s touch is addictive, the anticipation alone igniting a high … an exhilarating rush to ride on.
“Tell me to touch you, Victoria. Aside from your soaked pussy giving it away, convince me you want this.” His voice is controlled yet commanding.
“I want you to touch me. Fuck, please, touch me now …” I’m breathless, my words uttered with desperation. Two fingers slip into me as his other hand slides up the outside of my leg. It snakes around my knee, and his lips tenderly kiss the inside of it.
