As one of New York’s Finest, firefighter Cash Ryder is always prepared. When a woman’s car skids off the side of a mountain during a snowstorm, he’s there to rescue her. Cash is totally focused on the woman’s well-being, but within minutes of getting her to safety, he realizes that he’s nowhere near prepared for the heat that rolls off of sensual, smart-mouthed, and stubborn Siena Remington.
As a model, Siena Remington has dated some of the wealthiest, most handsome men in the industry, and she’s made peace with the idea that most men are just looking for eye candy and they wouldn’t know how to romance a woman to save their lives. When she’s rescued by a tall, handsome stranger, she thinks that maybe, just maybe, she’s found her own real-life romantic fairy tale—until he opens his mouth and everything that comes out is gruff, ornery, and aggravatingly sexy.
Thrown together during an annual firehouse calendar photo shoot, the passion between Cash and Siena sizzles, and neither one knows how to control the flames. After an evening of verbal sparring followed by a sinfully sensual night, their darkest secrets are revealed—and so is Cash’s warm, romantic heart. But Siena’s secret might be too much for big, strong, always-prepared Cash to handle—and Siena is forced to choose between a man who’s everything she’s ever dreamed of and an opportunity of a lifetime.
Flames of love a great story, I have to say I haven't read any of the other books in the series but I am definitely intrigued now to read them all! This can be read as a standalone and was told in dual POV's. Melissa Foster definitely can write a hot romance with some twists. I would give this book a 4 star!
Siena is a model who finds herself wanting the romance that she see's her brothers share with their significant others. But with her work men never take her seriously and she never knows if they are with her for her fame or her money. One day changes all that when she is in a dangerous situation and a sexy firemen saves her. Can she ever truly trust a man without thinking they want something more from her than just her love? Will one man change her for good and give her the romance she deserves or is it all too good to be true? Will her job find its way in destroying the only true relationship she has ever had?
Cash is a sexy as sin fireman who is dealing with demons of his job. He isn't looking for love it would just complicate his life more, how can he let some one love him when he puts his life on the line everyday and can't promise forever? Will one woman change his view on love? Or will his insecurities make him back off or will her fame and job get in the way of their HEA?
This book was written very well and I don't want to give to much away, you have to pick it up see for yourself how amazing it is! I look forward to reading way more from this author.
Here are some excerpts from the book.
Siena- They'd never brave a blizzard to rescue her. She was sick of those kinds of men. They treated her like she was stupid and easy just because she was pretty. She wanted to be loved and cherished, romanced, not taken out to dinner with expectation of sex. She didn't want to be wined and dined with diamonds on every finger. She wanted a man who would look at her the way her brothers looked at their girlfriends and fiancees. Romance. Yes, that's what I want.
Cash- He licked the sweet alcohol from his lips and lowered his cheek to hers. "Careful" he whispered. "You're playing with fire, and I'm a master at controlling flames."
