Blitz & Review: The Good Girl by Emma Nichols

**Please note: this book is rated MA for Adult Situations and the occasional curse word

When Willow Stone discovers that she is in competition with the exotic and worldly Molina for the coveted position of sex advice columnist, she realizes it's time to up her game. Though she has impeccable writing skills, there's no denying that a lifetime of being the good girl has left her ill prepared for this position. Realizing it's her lack of experience that will keep her from achieving this dream, she decides to proposition the bad boy who once lived in her college dorm that always had a stream of women doing the walk of shame from his room on a nearly nightly basis. Surely someone that shallow, that experienced, and that wildly attractive could teach her a thing or twenty.

Only Wyatt has his own plans, and they don't allow much time for teaching Willow what she would already know if she could just break free of the cool, calculating, proper demeanor that was part of being a Stone. His reputation has served him well through the years and being the black sheep of his family has never bothered him. What does bother him, however, is Willow. She is a mystery to unravel, a present to be cherished, a young woman who just might rock his world by bringing him back into his family's fold. She was everything they wanted for him and precisely what he had avoided since he started dating.

What will happen when the good girl gets mixed up with the bad boy?

5 Star Review

I really enjoyed this book by Emma Nichols. She sure knows how to write some HOT scenes with some very sexy men.

Willow Stone is competing for a position as a sex advice columnist. She has very good writing skills but always being the good girl has her lacking in the sex department. She decides its time to up her game and propositions the local college bad boy to help teach her a thing or two. She does some research and comes up with a sex bucket list and Wyatt offers to help her get through the list. She never expected to develop feeling for him as quickly as she did. These feelings scare her because she is afraid of what her family make think. She has always followed the rules that her parents drilled into her at a very young age. Will Wyatt be able to help her realize that she needs to live life for her and not her parents?

"It will always be for not using that big beautiful heart of yours, Willow. You should always be true to you."
"You know...turning a life sentence into a love story. That would make a great column..."
"I don't know how to follow my heart, but if I did you would see me constantly in your rear view mirror."

Wyatt Evans has plans to move out of town and get on with his life so he only has a limited amount of time to help her complete the list. He has always been the black sheep of his family and has never been in a relationship which has caused tension with his parents. He is very intrigued by Willow and wants to enjoy the time he has with her. They get started immediately on the bucket list and Wyatt quickly develops feelings for Willow.  Will he be able to shut those feelings off and move on with his life or will she be the one his family has always been hoping he would find? What happens when the good girl gets mixed up with the bad boy?

I loved the connection between Wyatt and Willow. He was always encouraging her to do what she wanted with her life and to not worry about what her parents might think. The sex scenes were HOT! I can't wait to see what Emma is working on next.

The Good Girl Playlist

What made her decide to be an erotica author?

Simple.

How else was she going to parlay her two favorite past times into a career?

Emma is single and loving it. Like her first character, Alysin, Sin for short, she doesn't believe in settling or in settling down. She loves to indulge in her passions whenever the mood strikes and enjoys keeping all of life's cliche moments spicy.

Known for her sense of humor, Emma surrounds herself with friends whose antics often become the source of book fodder. Her ideal situation would be to explore the Caribbean while writing. She pursues that dream daily.
