After getting involved with Dylan, the bad boy of the Dixon High Swim team, Charley decides to stay close to home for college. It’s just safer that way. No Turning Back is a book that really surprised me. It has young love, heartache, and a really stupid boyfriend that I just wanted to slap!! There were times I was so frustrated but I couldn’t put it down.
Charley has been dating Dylan in high school. He is the typical bad boy and is overly possessive of her. After graduation, she has plans of staying close to home and helping her family with their farm. After finding out the hard way that he cannot be trusted, she decides to change her plans and go away to college.
Charley has been friends with Cash since she was four years old and always seems to come to the rescue when he needs her. He is one fine country boy!!

While attending college at Southern University, she knows she wants to spread her wings and have a little fun. She even joins the swim team, something that she had quit in high school. She now has a life and goes out with friends. In comes Joe. Hot and sexy and his eyes are set on Charley. But, Charley knows that she will always love Cash but yet she has feelings for Joe. She knows she just wants some space and freedom to have some fun. So that’s what they do. There is nothing Joe loves more than to dance with Charley at the local hangout.
I really loved the relationship she has with Cash. No matter what, they are there for each other. I kind of felt bad for Cash being left behind while Charley goes away and tries to find herself. He is such a sweetheart and I was swooning over him. Talk about a great guy, Cash is one of the best and he has this amazing love for Charley!! Who wouldn’t love that?

When Dylan comes back into the picture and threatening her, who will be able to save her? Her new friend, Joe, or Cash, who has a piece of her heart?
This book has some twists that I was certainly not expecting and threw me for a loop. I love that Charley seemed so unsure of herself when she left and grew into being so much more confident. I would give this 4 stars. It drew me in from the start and left me wanting more.
