Just Breathe is so much more than just a romance. It totally encapsulates how one feels when all the people you love leave you and how you must deal with it on your own because the pain of voicing your emotions is too unbearable to speak. I had no idea what this book was about and to find such a great story is wonderful.
Elle has a debilitating disorder that leads her to living a somewhat solitary life. She must learn to cope with losing her “perfect” love and deal with it on her own because the shame of not knowing where it all went wrong is too much for her. But then her best friend also must leave her. As her world shrinks will she be able to trust the new man in her life? She questions why he is the only man to go out of his way to make her happy and are his reasons pure. Will doubts and fears from her previous relationship allow her to have her happily ever after?
While reading this book I found myself relieving so many of the emotions Elle was feeling. All the insecurities and the butterflies that go along with starting over. This is definitely a book you want to read.
4 out of 5 stars.
