All goes according to plan. Until Sildon finds out how strong-willed Jada is. But even though her mind should be focused on escaping, she can’t stop staring at the well-defined “V” below his perfect six-pack.
And soon another challenge presents itself when they come across a baby being sold on the slave market.
Does this mercenary have a heart after all? Can Jada and Sildon contain the heat slowly building up between them? Is he prepared to do the one thing that could destroy everything else?

Available Now on Amazon!

Snippet #1:
Being held in the sexy kidnapper's arms wasn't exactly something she was all too distressed about. If anything, the distress came from the fact that despite him kidnapping her, she wouldn't mind if he carried her to bed… or even just pushed her against the wall and had his way with her.

Snippet #2:
"You know nothing about me, human," he growled in his deep, gravelly voice. Combined with his body against hers, it sent tingles of heat through her body. Her core tightened, and no amount of telling herself that it was her stomach clenching in fear could erase the truth.

Bio:
Abella Ward has always dreamed of visiting other planets and being swept off her feet by a hot, bluish alien warlord. When that warlord didn’t come, she started taking pleasure in writing books about her fantasies instead.

Abella loves to write sexy stories about ruthless alpha males. Her books contain three things: hot aliens, steamy romance and lots of action. Nothing else. Oh, and happy endings, of course.

She likes stargazing on her rooftop, treating herself and her curves to the occasional box of ice cream and visiting rock concerts. She lives with her husband (who may not be an alien but could be described as a warlord in his own way) and dog in Arizona.

Excerpts

I think he’s lonely and needs a friend, so that’s what I’m gonna try to be.” I attempt to make it sound as convincing as possible because I’m sure being his friend would be great. If he could let his barriers down a bit of course.

Yeah being his friend would be great, his boyfriend would be even better but I try not to think about that too much.

“I just don’t want you to get hurt when you realise he isn’t interested.”

“B, I know you’re just worried about my heart but seriously, stop. I don’t care about all that,” I try again with the convincing tone, “I just want to spend time with him.”

“Yeah, okay,” she says as I head towards the door. “He is straight,” I hear her shout as I close the door behind me.

I’m starting to seriously believe that he may not be but I’ll try to keep an open mind about the situation.

What the fuck?

I stare at the closed hotel room door that Chase just disappeared through like nothing had happened.

I can still smell his aftershave filling the air and I can still taste him on my tongue, so it can’t have been my imagination.

Chase really did just kiss me.

Chase…uh…I don’t know his surname…kissed me.

Me!

And then he ran away, yeah that sounds more like it.

I give it thirty minutes. One, because hopefully it’ll give him chance to speak to whoever it was on the phone and two, it’ll give my body a chance to calm itself down.

I can hardly go running around the hotel sporting a massive boner from kissing the star of the show that everyone is convinced is straight.

“Take it out on me,” I say stepping towards him. “Use me…for whatever you need.”

“I’m not going to hurt you, Cole.”

“That’s not what I mean. Use my body, take what you need.”

I watch his eyes drop and run down the length of me. Tingles erupt in their wake.

I’m fully clothed but the way he’s looking at me, I might as well be naked.

“You don’t mean that,” he states.

“Like fuck I don’t.” I reach behind me and pull my t-shirt over my head. It’s barely

hit the floor before Logan is right there in front of me. His smell instantly floods my

senses. My mouth waters to have it on him, any of him.

“It’ll be rough,” he warns in a deep gravelly voice that makes my knees a little

weak.

“I’m yours, whatever you need.”

He’s so lost to his grief that I don’t think he hears the truth behind my statement. I may have only known him a few short weeks but that doesn’t mean anything. I’ve been his since our first encounter in his hotel room when I didn’t even know he was gay. The way he looked at me then, the way he’s looking at me now. Fuck, I never want to lose it. We’ve hardly had any time together but he makes me feel so alive, makes me feel so much more than I’ve ever experienced before.

He must realise that I’m being serious, that his threats don’t scare me because after a beat his hands come up and push hard against my chest until I’m backed up against the wall.

“Undress,” he demands.

Excerpt #1

Gracen had no idea how beautiful she was. Dressed the way she was, it was almost impossible to look away. On a normal day, she was the kind of beautiful that robbed my ability to think straight. Every single woman I dated, I chose specifically to be as different from Gracen as I could, hoping that with enough practice, I could make myself look at her and not want her with every fiber of my being.

Even though I’d had years to perfect keeping my face neutral, it would slip every once in a while. She’d get a peek of the raw emotion that bled through because it was too much to contain. When it did, she’d give me an odd look, and then crack a joke to see me smile. I’d heave a huge sigh of internal relief that she’d once again misinterpreted it, because I couldn’t lose her friendship.

The draw to her had gotten to be so much that I knew if I didn’t do something, and soon, I’d

ruin everything with her. Somewhere, there was a lucky bastard who’d eventually steal her right out from under my nose, and there wouldn’t be a damn thing I could do about it. I already hated him—whoever he was.

Excerpt #2

“You coming?” he called to me from the porch. Both our bags were slung over one shoulder and Lucy, tail thumping against the worn boards, was sitting by his feet.

They were a picture, the two of them. Man and beast. My man and my beast, even if only in my dreams, I thought, catching the door handle and getting out of the truck as Slade made his way inside.

Closing my eyes, I pretended I was home and he was mine. He’d welcome me in at the front door with a kiss hot enough to sear my lips and melt me to the floor. We’d make it as far as the rustic living room before shedding clothes behind us in a trail to the bedroom.

I shook my head to clear it. That same moment had flashed through my thoughts so many times before. Like auto play.

Before I could make it to the porch steps, Slade came back out. He caught hold of the door casing and stretched forward. My knees wobbled when his eyes met mine.

“It’s like coming home, every time we come here,” he said.

My steps faltered at his words. “It’s special… this place. You can feel it.” My fingers dipped and swayed against the slight breeze that flitted through the trees.

There was something extraordinary about it, but nothing I could physically point out. It was more like a feeling. A welcoming. Like it was a haven that spoke to something deep inside me.

Lucy poked her nose past Slade, panting with a huge doggy grin. He didn’t look down at her.

“Are you planning to stay out there the whole time?” he asked. There was something different in the way he gazed at me. I couldn’t quite put my finger on, but it almost felt like something more.

“Can’t really go inside when you’re standing in the doorway.” I smirked at him, trying not to show my confusion.

“Tell me something, Gracen. And be honest,” he said, unmoving.

Nervous energy shot through me, every single point of awareness standing on end. Now there was a look in his eyes I thought I’d glimpsed a few times before, but it had always been gone as quick as it came. I’d always brushed it off as my imagination, conjured up because I wanted it so bad. But this time, there was no mistaking it. It held promises unspoken. Secrets long buried.

I could feel the pulse at my neck hammering as if my heart had dislodged itself and was working its way up and out. My arms tingled as if my skin were made of wildly flapping butterfly wings, and my stomach twisted around a giant rock of something molten that emptied itself down into my legs. The two halves of my body were at war with one another—one wanted to fly away, the other to sink into the ground.

Here’s what reviewers are saying about the Seducing Sarah series:

---This series has really captivated me! I like reading these short stories about Sarah trying to find love.
---Ami has a way with drawing you into the story and making the characters feel like friends you have known your whole life. I can't wait to see the journey Sarah is about to go on through this 6-part series.
---The way Ami writes is just amazing. Sarah is portrayed just like the rest of us 30-somethings… who are out here trying to navigate the dating field. It isn't easy and you sure do have to kiss a lot of toads before you find the one person who just gets you.

Bio:
Like most romance writers, Ami LeCoeur is a romantic at heart, but in her heart, it's the classic romanticism of the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

She is a painter, glass artist, and award-winning poet, as well as a writer.

When she isn't traveling, she lives on California's Redwood Coast with her husband and two kitties. She loves her wonderful ocean view, and when the fog comes in - as it always does - she's either curled up with a good book or busy writing.
