Walking series. I did not read book one, but it was easy to follow along as a
stand alone. The main characters are Ivy and Taron (not to get confused with
his twin Talon). The story moved along at a quick pace. Maybe a little too
quickly. Within the first 8% (kindle format) they were having sex. Yes the
writing is hot and done quite well. Within pages the conflict begins and worlds
are shattered. Just when you were getting into the angst the problems are
resolved only to be thrown into another turmoil. If you are into the whole Rock
Star band wagon read it. For me the characters are a little too young (early
twenties). The ingredients are there for a fine romance novel. I give this a
3.5 star rating. Good sex scenes, turmoil and a HEA.

This story is Taron & Ivy's story. In the first book you can see the chemistry between these two and knew it was just a matter of time before it happened. What I did not expect with this story is the twists and turns it took us on.
Ivy's past has had her keeping her guard up around men her whole life. BUT she puts out a confidence every girl wants around a guy. The only thing is she has you believing that she comfortable with hooking up with random guys, when in reality it’s a rare occasion. Taron is the total package… lead singer, rock star, cocky and a ladies man. Ivy gives him a run for his money! I was very excited to see these two finally get together. Their hook-up happens pretty fast once you start the book but right as we are getting to the good stuff something MAJOR happens to Ivy and POOF everything goes haywire. Don't let that stop you from reading it though!
While I was reading I knew these two were perfect for each other. They do a good job of keeping each other on their toes. One minute everything is sunshine and rainbows and the next you are wanting to throw your e-reader wondering what the heck is wrong with them! The hilarious toasts are back... gosh I wish I was single and could use these lol. There is also steamy scenes you will not want to miss!
Talon & Eaven make their appearances all through the book. Of course they would Talon is Taron's twin and Eaven & Ivy are like sisters. Aiden is back and oh boy I hope that cowboy gets his own story. He is really just the sweetest, laid back man that there is. He proves to the girls that he has their back and I am hoping the boys will come around to him eventually. Holden is one I can't wait for either... I want to know what makes him tick. He has such the big brother protector thing going on.... there is a good story there! We see more of Luke & Lilly... hmmmm I have my ideas about them!
I read both the books in this series back to back. They are very quick reads but so worth it. By the end of Heaven Sent, Hilary Storm has made a fan girl out of me! I cannot wait to see where we are headed next in this series!!
