Blog Tour & Giveaway: Review of Worth the Fight by Vi Keeland

It didn’t matter that the ref called it a clean hit.  Nico Hunter would never be the same.

Elle has a good life.  A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she’s been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half.  But it’s boring…and she strives to keep it that way.  Too many emotions are dangerous.  Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.

Then Nico walks into Elle’s office and everything changes…for both of them.  But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common?  A lot more than they bargained for.

Elle says:

I am absolutely IN LOVE with Worth the Fight by Vi Keeland! When I read the synopsis I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. A sexy MMA fighter and a heroine named Elle? Hello! I’m a huge sucker for MMA fighters, and characters that share my name. Combine the two and I nearly have a heart attack.

Oh Elle. Brilliant name! I knew she’d be a badass before I ever started reading. Once I got into the book, I couldn’t help but love her character. She’s a lawyer who puts her career above everything, including dating. With dating not being a priority, she’s found a “friends-with-benefits” style arrangement with a friend from law school. I was intrigued by her pseudo-relationship with William. I actually loved her inner monologues regarding her feelings towards him and their routine.

Enter Nico. He’s a buff MMA fighter with a haunted past and the perfect combination of sexy and intriguing to catch Elle’s attention. Like Elle, he has skeletons in his closet (albeit his are public knowledge) and is unable to find closure after a fight gone awry.

I found the plot to be engaging and caught my attention from the opening paragraphs. The story was unique and unlike anything I had read before. There were tender, heart breaking moments, shocking twists, and plenty of chemistry between the heroine and hero. I felt like because of their pasts Elle and Nico were the only two people who could truly understand what the other was going through. Because of this, I believed their connection and rooted for them the entire book. Don’t get me wrong, William is a great guy, I just don’t see him as the guy for Elle.

Now ladies, I know what you really want me to talk about, so I’m happy to oblige. The sex. Nico “The Lady Killer” Hunter has that nickname for a reason. The scenes are insanely hot! Good gracious, alpha male, jaw dropping, hot flash inducing (no matter your age), make you want to confess sins you’ve never committed H-O-T.

Vi Keeland has delivered the total package – passion, drama, and a fight for redemption against a troubled past. This is one book that needs to be at the top of your TBR. One click Worth the Fight today!
