somesortofomgcover

Some sort of Happy is LIVE!

Synopsis
Skylar Nixon is a twenty-seven year old failed actress with no Plan B. After a humiliating stint on a reality TV show crushes what’s left of her childhood dream, she finds herself back in her hometown with no money saved, no college degree, and no confidence she’s anything but a joke—a small town starlet who couldn’t hack it in the big city.
When she runs into former classmate Sebastian Pryce, she can’t believe the hot body and chiseled jaw belong to the shy, troubled loner she knew ten years before. He’s not exactly friendly at first, and she’s heard the rumors about his tragic past, but something in his sad eyes intrigues her. She only wants to get to know him better.
Until the night she wants more—and takes it. (Hard and deep. Twice.)
Are they just two lonely people seeking solace? Or can a disgraced beauty queen and flawed, frustrated man find some sort of happy ever after?
**SOME SORT OF HAPPY is a full-length, dual POV novel, complete with a happy ending.**

SARAH'S 4 STAR REVIEW:

I really enjoyed Some Sort of Happy by Melanie Harlow. This is the first book I have ever read by her and it definitely won't be my last.

Nothing is going right in Skylar's life since she appeared on a reality T.V. show. She lost her job, her crown and she is stuck living in her parents guest house. She runs into a handsome man when she falls in the sand and is shocked when she finds out is an old classmate from school. She is very intrigued by him and would love to get to know him better but he always seems very closed off. Will Skylar be able to get the mystery man open up to her?

Sebastian Pryce suffers from severe OCD and his has caused him to shut many people out of his life. He has a hard time dealing with his faults and is sure that he will never be able to have a real relationship as no one will be able to put up with him. He has always had deep feeling for Skylar and when he run into her again he wants so badlyto spend The time with her but is afraid to express his feeling for her. Will Sebastian ever be able to learn to deal with his OCD and learn to let people into his life?

"Then let me in, and let me stay." "I want to." the fear in his eyes broke my heart. "I'll keep trying."

I loved the connection between Skylar and Sebastian. These two characters both had some major struggles in their lives to deal with but with support from each other they learn to open up and accept help from one another. The secondary characters added lots of depth to the storyline. I loved all the "feels" this book gave me and can't wait for the next one.
