SHANNON'S 5 STAR REVIEW:

Grey by E.L. James

5 stars

As most all of us are aware, Grey is Christians POV of Fifty Shades of Grey. It does tell us a lot about him that we may not have actually seen when we were swept away in our first and maybe even second reading.  We are able to finally get in his head and hear his thoughts.  Not gonna lie, some of them were a bit much, but he is Christian and he is fifty shades of f*&ked up, right.

From the first time he sees Ana when she falls into his office to that last good bye we were privy to the private world of Christian Grey.  Some of the thoughts were purely erotic and some of them were refreshing, he couldn't get enough of Ana, wanted to simply be in her presence. The moments when WE knew he was in love and he didn't were some of my favorite.  He's a force to be reckoned with and according to Mr. Grey, Ana held her ground.

Some people complained that this was just a repeat of FSOG - well, duh, it's his POV of those moments.  I, for one, was ecstatic to know what he was feeling and how he was handling different things, learning what he was doing when FSOG was focused on Ana, what he was doing in the background, ya know. I wasn't disappointed or let down. I sincerely hope Ms. James continues to finish out the series from CG's point of view.
