  ~Book Synopsis ~

To the outside world I’m a normal twenty three year old woman - brown hair with caramel colored highlights, gray blue eyes and French manicured tips. What they don’t see are the map of scars etched into my skin or the barb wired wrapped around my heart. As the saying goes, it only takes one person to change your life. That person for me was Andrew. From the moment we locked eyes I was hooked. He was intriguing, a word that doesn’t get used lightly. Men were a dime a dozen, but Andrew was special. I could tell in the way he spoke, passionately and without reservation. As our fates collide, he begins show me the light amongst the darkness. However, when a secret from Andrew’s past emerges, the fragile foundation of trust we built becomes threatened. Our story is a jagged piece of glass, beautifully imperfect. Will it survive the fall or will blood be drawn?

 JESSICA'S 3 STAR REVIEW:

Jagged Love is a touching story of two people struggling to deal with all the pain and suffering life has dealt them. This not your usual run of the mill romance novel this story is more grit and rough edges but there is still beauty wrapped in as well.
Haven made my heart break for her right from the start. Life has definitely knocked her down way more than it's ever picked her up. She grew up with a drug addict mother if you can even call her a mother who only cared about her next high and the next man in her life. Growing up and seeing and experiencing the things Haven had to is enough to make anyone a little jaded but instead of having a constant pity party she shows amazing strength for a twenty-three year old and becomes a survivor.
Andrew instantly makes you fall in love with them he is the white knight right from the start when he "saves" Haven from a confrontational customer at the coffee shop where she works. He continues to swoop in and save the day several more times and each time your heart melts just a little more for him. His past is not as clear as Haven's from the beginning but you start to realize there are secrets looming.
Haven and Andrew bond and develop a friendship and over time that friendship blossoms into love and of course eventually that love turns to heartache. This story has love, angst, betrayal, and forgiveness all the elements of a great read.
The downside to this book is the ending although happy was very abrupt and felt rushed I would have liked to have a little more of a transition. There were also several grammatical errors missing words etc. if you can over look these things it is a quick satisfying read.
