Dare to Submit is the first book I have ever read by Carly Phillips and it definitely won't be my last. I will be going back and reading the rest of the books in this series.
Decklan Dare is a hot, sexy, dirty mouthed cop. He has had his eye on a girl at the BDSM club for a few months but has never made a move. One night she ends up in a bad situation and he intervenes to help her. He never imagined that this would lead to her bent over his knee for a spanking. Decklan has always avoiding relationships but something about Amanda has him questioning his decision. Things quickly heat up between them and he is finding himself wanting to be with Amanda as often as possible.
"I'll start with what I don't want. No protocol. No games. Just hot, sweaty sex."

Amanda comes to the BDSM club a few times a month from out of town. She has noticed Decklan before but never thought he was interested in her because he never talked to her. She gets herself into a bad situation and Decklan comes to her rescue. Things heat up immediately but she knows she can't let him get to close because she has secrets. She tries hard to remain loyal to her best friend and boss Brad but as she gets closer to Decklan she finds it hard to continue on with her secret life. Will Amanda and Decklan be able to trust one another when the secret is revealed or will the lies tear them apart? Can Amanda show Decklan that it is possible to love without dominance?

I really loved the connection between the characters. This is a sexy steamy read that should not be missed. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
