REVERENCE – SENAYDA PIERRE
This is book 3 in the Irresistible Series – I’ve not read
any of the other books in this series but I’ve got a feeling the main
characters, Carina, Diego, and Desirae, are pivotal characters in those books.
This book delves into the relationship of Carina’s brother,
Diego and her best friend, Desirae along with their sordid and crazy
pasts. Both of them had hard childhoods,
Desirae’s being much worse and depraved than Diego’s.
The issues dealt with in the book are very deep, complex,
and troublesome (Desirae’s past). But
they are explored with the sensitivity that is needed when exploring these
situations.
Desirae is quite comfortable and confident in her sexuality
and her dominance in the bedroom and has always had feelings for Diego but
Diego’s always been indifferent to her, or has he? Can he make her feel like a young girl in
love or he will be just another conquest for her? He wants more than what she can offer so can
he work his way into her heart and soul?
