Review: Needing Her by Molly McAdams

She’s the Girl Next Door

Maci Price isn’t really into relationships. Having four very protective older brothers has always made having a boyfriend very difficult, anyway. But her friend is set on finding her the perfect guy – and thinks the mysterious Connor Green is the perfect pick.

He’s Her Brother’s Best Friend

Connor Green is trying to find himself again. He loved then lost and it’s time for him to pick up the pieces. His brooding is making his friends crazy, but, Maci Price, who has grown up into a gorgeous and incredibly sexy woman, is about to break the spell.

They’re Made for Each Other

When Maci starts up old pranks to get Connor out of his slump, an all out war leads to a night that will break all their rules, and a relationship they must keep hidden. Together they’re electric. Apart they’re safe. And soon they’ll find they’re exactly what the other needs.

A fabulous, fun, and sexy, New Adult novella from New York Times bestselling author Molly McAdams. If you loved Connor in From Ashes, this is the story for you.

Kathy says...

Maci has had a hard time with relationships.  She has four over-protective brothers who scare all of her would-be suitors away!  The result is that she has a friend with benefits who she has to hide and unfortunately he also leaves her unsatisfied.  It doesn't help that she lives next door to hottie police officer Connor who happens to parade women in and out of his apartment each night.  Connor happens to be her brother's best friend and her longtime crush.  It isn't until they declare a prank war on each other that things begin to heat up between the two of them.

The pranks between Maci and Connor had me laughing out loud.  I kept turning the page wanting to see what the next revenge would be.  These two had some serious chemistry and the fighting only made it hotter!  Maci was sweet and really just wanted someone to love her for who she was.  Someone who wouldn't try to change her, and who would also stand up to her brothers.  Connor has been hurt before and he worries that he can't maintain a real relationship because of his past.

I love brother's best friend stories and this one did not disappoint.  The brothers were funny (if a little over bearing) and I loved how the family was featured in the book.  The ending was sweet and cute and left my heart happy.

"We drive each other crazy."
"I like our kind of crazy."
"We're always fighting," she argued.
"As long as it's you I'm fighting with."

Although this is a novella it reads like a full-length novel and is well worth the price.  Don't hesitate to pick up this gem today! 4 Stars for Needing Her!
