Review: Trust In Me by J. Lynn

It’s Wait for You as you’ve never seen it. Trust in Me lets you in on Cam’s side of the #1 New York Times Bestselling story.

Cameron Hamilton is used to getting what he wants, especially when it comes to women. But when Avery Morgansten comes crashing into his life – literally – he finally meets the one person who can resist his soulful baby blues. But Cam’s not ready to give up. He can’t get the feisty and intriguing girl out of his head.

Avery has secrets, secrets that keep her from admitting the feelings Cam knows she has for him. Will persistence (and some delicious homemade cookies) help him break down her barriers and gain her trust? Or will he be shut out of Avery's life, losing his first real shot at the kind of love that lasts forever?

Elle says...

Trust in Me is the companion novel to J. Lynn’s Wait for You. This novella is a retelling of the events in Wait for Youthrough Cameron Hamilton’s point of view. If you haven’t been introduced to Cameron yet, you must read Wait for Youbefore getting your hands on Trust in Me.

I’ve read several companion novels (all told through the lead male’s perspective) and I found them to be hit or miss. Some exceeded the high standards set by the original story and others fell short. Trust in Me does anything but disappoint. It is beyond fantastic. Even though I already knew the story, there was something so fresh and new about this novella. I was consumed by the story and fell in love with the characters all over again.

J. Lynn absolutely masters the male point of view. Everything about Cameron – his actions, dialogue, and inner monologues – was written flawlessly. Cameron is book boyfriend perfection. It was an absolute treat to get inside his mind, and I fell even more in love with him. His devotion and love for Avery makes my heart smile.

I was drowning in the pages and never wanted to surface for air. This story was beyond phenomenal and a definite must read. I cannot wait for the next installment in the series. Do yourself a favor and get familiar with Cameron Hamilton in Wait for You and Trust in Me!

All the rumors you heard about her state aren’t true.

Well, mostly. When she's not hard at work writing, she spends her time, reading, working out, watching zombie movies, and pretending to write.
