Blog Tour Review: Pieces of Rhys by L.D. Davis

Do you have an object of obsession? For Lindsey, her obsession is the deadly sexy Rhys, who makes her toes curl, her temperature rise, and other parts of her body react beyond her control. Rhys always avoided emotional attachments to women…until Lindsey; but a dark family secret keeps Rhys from giving Lindsey the commitment she deserves. Lindsey discovers Rhys's secret the hard way while her own dark past occasionally rears its ugly head. Laced with laugh out loud humor and steamy moments, follow Lindsey as she collects pieces of Rhys in her quest to find the whole man.

Georgia says:

Ever work with someone you never thought you had a chance with? Lindsey’s obsession is Rhys (pronounced Reece).  Rhys is the office bad boy who has dallied with his fair share of women.

Lindsey is a young divorcee who doesn’t want to get her heart broken again. Their friendship becomes one with benefits. How do they keep it from becoming more than either one of them wants?  Throw into the mix ex’s, coworkers, one fat cat and crazy family members and you got one hell of a story.
I love the way L.D. Davis writes. She is a very witty writer, you will actually find yourself laughing along with the characters. You connect instantly with her the heroine.

The love scenes are extremely hot. Yes it is a novella but it is not rushed in any way.

Rhys made me melt into a puddle on more than one occasion. Do men like him really exist and if so I want one.  And Lindsey is every woman I have ever met. She voices our insecurities about herself and relationships in a way we all identify with.

For me, L.D. Davis is an auto buy. I would recommend any of her books. They have all gotten five star ratings from me on Goodreads before I had even thought about giving out any public reviews. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do.  Not to mention I have met the lady and fell even more in love with her.

L.D. Davis was born and raised in a small town in South Jersey where she still resides. She is married with five children and comes from a very large family. L.D. has been writing since the second grade and consistently received encouragement from teachers and friends. L.D. frequently daydreamed about getting published, but did not think the daydream could be realized. It wasn't until early in 2011 after reading the works of a new, self-published author did she begin to believe that she could publish her work. Her first book "Accidentally On Purpose" was published in April of 2012, just days after her 34th birthday. L.D. is very excited to continue offering her imagination in printed form to the public.
