Synopsis

Unspoken Memories is quite different than any other book I
have read lately. The story line is very
unique and the book was well written but I didn’t connect with it the way I had
hoped. When I first started I thought
wow this is going to be a good one but half way in I lost interest.
It starts when supermodel Abigail wakes up in the hospital
after an accident. She has no memory of
her past. The only thing she can remember
is a phone number and a conversation she thinks she overheard. With that phone number she is determined to
find the answers she is looking for. I
really loved her in the beginning of the book, unlike so many females she was
strong willed and not a push over. Even
though her life is a mess and she has no clue who she is she doesn’t let it get
her down. She trusts no one not even her
fiancé and takes matters into her own hands to find the answer she seeks.
Her fiancé is a total prick.
Abigail discovers that he is cheating on her and she is strong enough to
stand up for herself and run away. With nowhere
to go she runs to the only person she has memories of Matt Garcia. The problem is Matt doesn’t know her. The memories she has about the two of them
don’t belong to her.
Matt is a college football player with problems of his
own. He recently lost his sister and
treats women poorly. When things didn’t
work out with his first love he is determined to never get emotionally involved
with another woman. He is a true player
and has no intentions of ever changing.
That is until Abigail walks into his life.
Matt and Abigail’s relationship wasn’t rushed and I would
consider it well developed but I failed to connect with the chemistry the two
shared. I only felt the friendship
between the two. I felt like the
chemistry that was supposed to be there was spelled out for me rather than
developed with the storyline. I would
have also liked a few more steamy scenes. Maybe it was just me I’m sure some other
readers will feel different.
I really enjoyed the
beginning of this book but the middle dragged on for me. I felt like the book had a lot of potential
but I found myself putting it down towards the middle to read something
else. I wanted more drama in the middle
of the book. I wanted to know what
happened to the fiancé. Eventually I
found out but I thought it came across as a quick after thought. I wanted a little more information and drama
with that part of the story since I connected with it so well in the beginning. It isn’t until the end of the book the drama
picked back up. At that point though I
had lost interest in the book and just wanted to see if Matt and Abigail got
their hea.
Overall I’m glad I read the book. I did enjoy several parts of it and thought
it was a book that others may enjoy more than me. Personally I just enjoy a little more angst
in my books. If you are looking for a
good romance without a lot of angst I would recommend this one for you.

to it in order to get into the “mood” of writing, revising, or editing that
particular book.

15. It took me 21 days to write “Unspoken Memories.”
I usually average about three weeks per book I’ve written.
16. I
have three close friends who all live in different states that I talk to
everyday, whether it be on the phone, FB PM, or text message. Most of the time
it’s all three throughout the day, and at the same time too.

met those friends three months ago on Facebook and they’re like my sisters now.
We cry together and everything.
18. The
ringtone (Big Poppa) is REALLY assigned to Matt in my phone, the muse I use for
“Unspoken Memories.” I was in the process of writing that particular scene and
he happened to call me at that exact moment…instant ringtone.
19. “Unspoken
Memories” has 6 deleted scenes.
20. It also has three different endings. The first one was
a major cliffhanger, the second not so much. While writing another book I
decided on the current one and kept it.
