Blurb:

Adam Kingsley reigns as the young prince of Manhattan. Everything he touches turns to gold making him the envy of Wall Street. Women swoon at his feet, money falls out of his pockets, and his killer good looks are as wicked as sin. A dangerous trifecta.

What more could a thirty-two year old man wish for? Maybe that his life never changes and his past stays far away? Sounds reasonable but life seldom is.

Kathryn Delcour is a beautiful and alluring socialite with unique erotic tastes. When she suddenly appears on the New York City social scene, Adam finds her too tempting to resist. He has to have her, but she is warned to stay away from him and his player ways. She tries her hardest to keep him at arm's length however Kathryn's arms may not be strong enough to hold Adam at bay.

Hidden secrets, Kathryn's passion for an ancient sexual practice, and a former business partner wanting to inflict a deadly revenge set the scene for a wild ride as Adam tells the story in his own words.

Intended for mature audiences. 18+ An 87,000 word love story.

Hot book cover? Check! All-male POV? Check! Steaminess? Check!!
As you can see above, this book had all of my favorite things and more. To be honest, I felt like a kid in a candy shop while reading this book.
“Where you lead, I’ll follow.”
Adam Kingsley is the ultimate book-boyfriend, he’s uber rich, hot, arrogant, and a bit of a bad boy. He is the love 'em and leave 'em type and makes no apologies for it.I have to admit, I loved Adam’s sense of humor. Some of the stuff he said throughout the book actually made me laugh out loud. Unfortunately, he is also very closed off and doesn’t let anyone see the real him. His motto changes once he spies the mysterious Kathryn Delcour at a fundraiser.
“I’m a specialist at taking boys like yourself and turning them into real men. I’ve never failed. Not once. At least that’s what their wives and girlfriends say.”
Kathryn is not the typical woman he usually meets and makes him work for her attention. Kathryn does not fawn all over him and calls him out on the bullshit he spews to get women into the backseat of his Escalade. Kathryn is a trained teacher in the art of Tantra, which is something that Adam does not know a lick about and mocks at first. Through touch, she tries to break down the walls that Adam has built to protect himself.
“You’re the exception to everything, Kathryn”
I think that Kathryn and Adam are a great match. Their banter alone had enough sexual chemistry and was entertaining to watch unfold. There is also an element of suspense throughout this book that surrounds Adam. I have to admit, “Adam’s Apple” had me hooked and I did not want to put it down. I need to warn you that this book is part of a series. On a side note, there is no cliffhanger.
I give it 4 stars!
